Through her endeavors and a long standing desire to help others in my community, she started a nonprofit called For Kids By Kids About Kids to help other Keiki's launch their own business even if for a day and provide other services to enrich their knowledge of economics, politics and community.

Illuminated Art

Danelle Rush had a career as a makeup artist on film and television for 20 years! She would do large glamorous make-up shows with special effects, and all of the “glitz and glam”! One day, she and her husband moved to Hawaii, and she had a dream about creating a full-time job with her paintings!

She brought her expertise and her dreams together to create Illuminated Art Hawaii!

Danielle’s pieces are made up of photos on canvas, with a mix of oil paints and makeup to create lively expressions. When the light hits her pieces, she found that makeup creates a surprise element that other paints don’t! Her pieces may seem beautiful on her website, but it is best experienced in person!

She hopes to bring joy to anyone who is looking to bring the beauty of Hawaii into their life.
