The Hawaii Small Business Fair is the leading annual event for small business owners and entrepreneurs. It provides valuable, ready-to-implement information for both existing small business owners and entrepreneurs seeking to create new businesses.
The Fair organizes 24+ classes throughout the day taught by volunteer professionals who are experts in those particular fields. During breaks between classes, Fair attendees can meet exhibitors from 34 nonprofit support agencies
The Hawaii Small Business Fair serves as a channel for Hawaii nonprofit agencies to meet small business owners and entrepreneurs through initial contact at the Fair and follow-on consulting afterwards.
The Hawaii Small Business Fair is organized by a committee of collaborative State and Federal agencies and organizations: DBEDT, SBA Hawaii, DCCA, Leeward Community College (LCC), Honolulu Community College (HCC), Hawaii SBDC, IRS, Patsy Mink Center for Business & Leadership (MCBL).
Hawaii Small Business Fair offers FREE 30 minute one-on-one Business Counseling
Business Counselor, provided by #SHOPSMALLHAWAII Resource Partners from the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership.
“The Small Business Fair promises more than 20 business trainings and talks designed to inform and inspire small business owners, entrepreneurs and even those just thinking about taking that big step. The sessions cover start-up tips, growth strategies, the best marketing tactics, exporting, financing tools and much more," said Jane Sawyer, District Director of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). "At this fair, you will also find dedicated professionals in many areas of expertise who are prepared and ready to help you achieve your vision of small business ownership and success."
